SOS Children’s Villages builds families for orphaned, abandoned and other vulnerable children. When children cannot stay with their family or have no family, we give them a safe home, together with their siblings, where they can grow up in one of their SOS families.
SOS are renowned for their support to children in crisis. They work tirelessly to provide the children and community in Sri Lanka with education and quality care to cultivate a well-rounded environment. Children are given an opportunity to blossom without worry or fear. The dedication shown by the SOS team to protect young people from natural disasters, exploitation, neglect and other tragedies that can have a life-long impact.
